Customer Reviews: “Yes, the Leupold 7-12 switch binoculars are a fine set of field glasses, but theres a problem with swapping the neck strap and harness. They both come with the binoculars, but theyre NOT interchangeable. Both have quick disconnect fasteners, but theyre not the same size and the neck strap has a male and female “buckle” while the harness has two male “buckles”. I passed my concerns on to the technical support department at Leupold and Stevens, but quickly got the brush off from the person answering the phone. He advised that I suggest a solution rather than having Leupold address my concern(s). Four stars plus for the binoculars, and a half star for the way my phone call was answered. Youd expect this sort of “we dont care” attitude from some overseas dealer, but not from Leupold. Come to think of it, I buy from North American manufacturersdealers just for this reason, customer service. Like I said, good binoculars, poor service.” Binoculars Telescopes Optics Leupold GR Leupold Golden Ring Binoculars wSwitchPower Md: 62710, Each lens coating is matched specifically to the type of glass and the lens placement in the binocular. Customer Reviews: “I just wanted to post a quick review for now because weve just used these on one job so far, but wanted to get something up here. The first time I tried Rogue 10×25 binoculars was in a local pawn shop; the set I examined were dusty and the store windows were very dirty- in spite of these obstacles, the Rogue images were what you might call “better than real” in that the optics seemed to actually improve on my normal vision. The focus was responsive and positive with no discernible creep. That store was asking for a price within a few dollars of Amazons new price, it turned out, so I just went for a set of new ones here. I am using mine primarily for surveillance work and in that role they have been very well suited. Compact yet easy to grip thanks to the rubberized exterior, fast focusing and sharp imaging are features which make the job a lot easier. There are two little tubes that eyeglass wearers can extend which give users a better picture while wearing glasses. Ive never seen this feature on binoculars before and am happy to say it really works. The Rogue come with a case that has a Velcro-close flap, a somewhat spartan belt loop and not really enough room inside to fit the binoculars and the supplied carrying strap easily. I suppose it is better than nothing but would have been nice if it would fit both pieces better. Its as though the case designers were not advised that there would be a neck strap.
